The Chris King InSet™ 7 ZS44/EC44 Headset is designed for MTB frames with large diameter headtubes and forks with tapered steerers. So, if you’re running a 44mm straight headtube with a 1 1/8” to 1.5” tapered steerer tube, you need this.

The InSet™ 7 headset, with its external lower cup and the patented GripLock® system to hold it firmly in place and keep it functioning smoothly, is as with all Chris King headsets equipped with the brand’s legendary bearings. These are machined simultaneously, for perfect matching, and get faster with age.

Engineered, manufactured and assembled in Portland, Oregon, this beautifully crafted headset is designed to last and will also be simple to service, so that it will remain in perfect working order for years to come, however hard you ride.
